Banana Chocolate Dairy Free Ice Cream
This is delicious served with fresh fruit
such as fresh of defrosted berries. For this recipe you will need to soak your almonds and freeze the banana bits the night before. There are endless variations of these types
of 'food processor soft serve' ice cream. Try adding frozen
raspberries instead of chocolate to the banana– it makes a fantastic
raspberry ice cream!
3 bananas, chopped in bits and frozen
150ml coconut cream
1/3 cup almonds, soaked overnight, then drained
2 T Cocoa or Carob
1 tsp ginger powder
1) Place coconut cream, cocoa, soaked almonds and ginger powder in a food
processor. Blend until pureed.
2) Slowly add the banana bits until you have a soft-serve consistency.
3) Serve immediately. This ice cream is for instant consumption, not to be re-frozen.
